Cohort 1, Class of 2017

My self-confidence as a leader has grown tremendously since becoming an IMPACT fellow.  The program offers hands-on, real life applicable opportunities that cannot be experienced through a traditional program.

Being an IMPACT fellow has had a profound effect on my confidence level. The program has equipped me with meaningful skills and authentic opportunities to practice leadership in my building and district.

The IMPACT Arkansas Fellowship’s coursework, internship projects, Teacher Leader Institutes, and one-on-one coaching has allowed me to strengthen areas in which I struggle while also developing my strengths. The program’s personalized design and support have been extremely beneficial as I continually work to become the best leader I can be.

IMPACT has helped me reflect on my practice as an educator and a Teacher Leader.  As a result of the fellowship, I have become bolder in regards to implementing new and creative strategies to bolster learning and leadership practices in my classroom.

Being an IMPACT fellow has allowed me to become a confident leader in my school district.

The IMPACT Fellowship has reminded me why I chose education as a career path. The coursework, internships, and camaraderie with my cohort makes me feel that I am a vital component to the future of Arkansas education.

The IMPACT Program has empowered me to become more of a teacher leader within my own building. I feel better prepared to take initiative in starting meaningful learning opportunities with colleagues, so that we can improve the education of our students. It’s all about life-long learning.

The IMPACT AR Fellowship has helped me understand the importance of quality leadership and its impact on the school community. I’ve also become more confident and open-minded.

The IMPACT AR Fellowship has definitely given me to the tools to become a more focused, knowledgeable, and effective leader.  As a result, I am well on my way to become an agent of change that will impact and awaken the minds of others.

My leadership has changed in a positive way with the help of the IMPACT fellowship program. I have learned new strategies for adult learning facilitation, which in turn has helped me to grow professionally in my role as a math instructional facilitator. I am grateful for the IMPACT Fellowship Program.

The Impact Arkansas Fellowship has given me the knowledge, skills, and strengths I need to become a confident, effective leader. Effective leaders think beyond the lines of their current situation to accomplish their school’s goals.
